Every wonder if that font is going to work perfectly on your laser cutter projects? I get asked the question often: what font is that?
This means it’s time for me to share with you 10 fonts that cut perfectly on laser cutter projects. And, my favorite fonts, by the way.
Support Font Designers
As a graphic designer, I depend on small bits of income here and there. And, not designers are no different.
While I get that you might love the idea of a “free” font, many times, they aren’t the best quality. When you pay for a font, that means that the designer has truly put their heart and soul into the details of it. And, I can get on board with paying it forward to them.
Look carefully at free fonts – their terms most always say not okay for commercial use!

Here are 10 Fonts That Cut Perfectly on Laser Cutter Projects
I have tested these with my Glowforge and often use them in my own laser cutter files that you can purchase here from me. I limited it to ten to keep it simple for you.

Lemon Lime – a font due with a fun upper case print and monoline script. I love using these for phrases where larger words can be all caps, and the longer words can use the script. Just be sure to beef up the fonts before cutting.
One Wish – a font duo again – made by the same designer as Lemon Lime. It has this same concept, but the print is not as tall. Again, beef up those fonts!
Roseroot Cottage – a beautiful upper style script – great for name signs. It’s one of the first ones I started using on name signs.
Charlie Moon Font – I love this – my friend Tiffany is OTTS, and she is so good at lettering. This one has a thicker monoline; you rarely have to beef it up before cutting.
Garden Berries – I love a monoline font a lot, but sometimes you need a really clean serif. This one is whimsical in that it mixes some script letters with print versions.
Berry Smoothie Font – a clean mix of print letters. I love the glyphs where the letters swoop down.
Flossed Sugar Font – another whimsical mix style font with script and print letters.
Glam Pastry – is along the lines of a more traditional brush script and is great for name signs.
Farmhouse Lemonade – mixed with print and script letters but with serifs too.
Backroads – this one looks a lot like that Rae Dunn style that is great for farmhouse designs. Again, beef up those letters before cutting.
Special Note About Fonts
Always install the .OTF versions if they are available so you can access the GLYPHS!

You can probably tell from above I have a few of my favorite font designers that I prefer to shop with because I know they put their best efforts into giving you the most amazing fonts.
